My name is Arij Asad and I am a third-year PhD student at the University of Bristol, working under the supervision of Dr. Andrew Lawrie and Dr. Stuart Thomson. My current research interests include 

• Fluid dynamics

• Nonlinear inverse problems

Before this, I was a mathematics undergraduate at Murray Edwards College, Cambridge.

I am passionate about access to higher education, and regularly seek out work that allows me to make mathematics more accessible to students from diverse educational, cultural, and work backgrounds.
